Research Advisor:
Felicia Goodrum, PhD, Immunobiology
Research Topic:

I'm studying how the HCMV virus influence's its host and vice versa, how the host and it's signaling pathways are influencing the virus' ability to spread. We are looking at how HCMV genes that govern viral persistence, reactivation, and replication might be influencing the FOXO3 transcription factor which is known to be implicated in many cancers.
