Research Advisor:
Curtis Thorne, PhD, Cellular and Molecular Medicine
Research Topic:

Characterizing kinase signaling networks in the control of intestinal epithelial proliferation." From my studies, I expect to identify new kinases or new roles for known kinases in the regulation of intestinal proliferation. These studies will uncover new signaling mechanisms for growth and cell fate control of the intestine and will identify of new therapeutic targets to treat disease such as colorectal cancer.
